So, I went on a school trip to the Globe Theatre yesterday to see The Merry Wives of Windsor. We went at about 9 in the morning, and came back at about 10 past 9 at night. Was it worth it? Yes - the performance was brilliant. The "ye olde" language is easy to vaguely understand, and you will at least know all of the main characters by Act 2, but that pervious set of words sounds trite and pessimistic. So, some PC stuff. I read a claim here that the Spore Creature Creator Demo has SecuROM on it, which does an ET when you're connected to the internet. There have been problems with this in the past, mostly from Starforce published games. My response is... So? The thing runs fine on my laptop, even though it is a bit slow. I hate Demomen. I HATE Demomen. With a capital HATE. I have nothing against the black, scottish cyclops himself (or indeed, any black scottish people anywhere).The character makes me laugh out loud ("Bloody brilliant!" he spouts after blowing me up for the fifth time).
